About us

A ranch-side practice built on empathy, not performance.

We believe mental and emotional well-being are integral to overall health — and that therapy can restore that balance.

At PJB Therapy we start from a simple conviction: everyone has the ability to lead a happy and fulfilling life. The work is to make room for it.

Our approach is empathy, compassion, and non-judgment. We create a safe, private setting where you can explore what you think and feel, then leave with skills you can actually use.

We are located on Buckeye Road in East Dublin. The office is warm and quiet. Equine sessions happen on the land, with horses who have been part of this therapeutic work for years. Telehealth is available to clients anywhere in Georgia when coming to the ranch is not the right fit.

Dr. Paula J. Smith’s practice is guided by self-acceptance and authenticity. Specialties include trauma, veterans, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relationship growth, and life transitions.
