Paula is the mother of four grown children, grandmother of four, and wife of a retired Naval officer. For more than two decades she has worked with homeless veterans, and she currently serves in the VA homeless program in Dublin, Georgia. Time in a level-one trauma center opened her eyes to the trauma people carry into everyday life. She has worked with horses for many years and has seen, firsthand, the healing they bring to the therapeutic relationship.
